In April Randall and I made the trip to St. Louis to participate in the always amazing and forever different image experience Shutterfest 2015! It is a shot in the arm for wedding photographers and wedding photography in general. All kinds of hands on learning and photoshoots to learn from. I am all about continuing my photography education and perfecting my craft. You may have seen some of the photos I took while at the event here, if not go check out some of my photos from the same sex posing class. So my point to this rambling post is that this a great photo expo and I absolutely love and highly respect Sal Cincotta and his Shutterfest team. This year they put on a print competition. Having switched careers and still learning the ropes in the wedding industry I hesitated to enter. After my assistant and good friend Randall convinced me I relented and entered a couple of my favorite photos from the last year. I am so proud and honored to announce I won a first place for Engagement Photography at Shutterfest 2015! It has been an amazing year of change and growth and I look forward to the next year of kicking butt and meeting more amazing couples and families! Lets create some breathtaking and epic photographs together this year!
