The time has come when everyone looks back over the past lap around the sun, while simultaneously gazing optimistically toward the promises held in the new year. I always enjoy the opportunity presented in a stroll down memory lane, perusing the archives of the many photographs created over the 12 months previous, which inevitably dredges up every single one of the feels humanly imaginable. The tremendous joy, heartfelt tears and sidesplitting laughter held in each of the photographs captured and preserved over the past 365 days is truly something immense and powerful to face. To have had the great pleasure of capturing so many moments to share with the world, encapsulating those glimmers of life and the emotions that accompany - the honor to have been in the right place at the correct time and with the appropriate set of skills needed to document the happenings as they happen is not easily lost upon me. It hasn't always been glamorous, but I'd be lying through all my teeth if I said that it wasn't fun.
Instead of a snapshot of one single event, this gallery is made up of many small glimpses of the adventures and events I have witnessed during my first year as a citizen of the fantastic mountain town of Denver. Sunrises in City Park, Donkey Derby, Gay Rodeos and lots of hikes in the foothills and mountains.
Here's to a new year, and the hope of every single day to come!
